September 9 – 11, 2014

Our fall meeting is just around the corner.

As in March, there will be a social/cocktail hour on Tuesday, September 9th at 6:00 PM CST followed by dinner.  You will meet Wednesday from 8:00 to 5:00 and have dinner at Gibson’s Steakhouse Wednesday night.  On Thursday, the meeting will start at 8:00 and end after lunch.  Please schedule your flights accordingly.

ACCOMMODATION

We have a block of rooms reserved at the Ritz-Carlton in downtown Chicago.  The group rate is $295 per night.  You can upgrade to a suite for an additional charge.

Please make your reservations early. 

If we exceed our block, they will honor that rate until the hotel is booked up, and we want to make sure everyone gets the best rate.  They will hold the block of rooms until August 12th, and the non-block rate is much higher than the discount.

The best method of transportation from the airport to the hotel is by cab or rental car.  O’Hare is 18 miles away, and Midway is 12.  The address is 160 East Pearson Street at Water Tower Place, Chicago, IL, and the phone number is 312-266-1000 if you have questions.

AIR ACCESS

The Concierge at the Ritz-Carlton will assist in arranging transportation. Prices vary, depending on needs.

From O’Hare International Airport (ORD)

DINING

Gibson’s (Wednesday Dinner) is within walking distance or a short cab ride from the hotel, and Tuesday’s dinner will either be on property or also in close proximity.  There is not dress code at Gibson’s (except no tank tops for gentlemen), and I will let you know if there is any for Tuesday’s dinner.  We believe we have sponsors for one or both of the dinners.

We are finalizing the agenda and hope to have it out by the end of July.
